The Comedy Pit is a place for Saskatoon and area comics to develop and polish their clean stand-up comedy. It is an open mic for experienced comedians who want to work a new bit, or polish an existing bit, as well as an opportunity for first timers to step up and take a shot at the mic.
Ever had a dream of giving stand up a shot? The Comedy Pit has stage time with your name on it.
The Comedy Pit has only one rule. The material must be what is known as TV/ corporate clean (PG-13 or cleaner).
We aren't prudes, and sometimes a good dirty joke goes a long way, but that just isn't our mission.
Our mission is to create a great night of clean entertainment for everyone and give you the opportunity to try and tell the jokes you heard at the show, at work the next day without worrying about a visit from your Human Resources department.
